Baileya Moths
Pale Baileya moth. There is a pale band through the center of its wings, but the upper and lower portions are darker.
Eyed Baileya. These moths have a pale, oval-shaped patch around the thorax. This feature distinguishes them from Pale Baileya moths (above).
Sleeping Baileya. The eyespot is "closed" (only a pupil with no circle around it). A couple of these moths have visited my lights in July.
Small Baileya. Similar to the Sleeping Baileya above, but the ST line is straight in the lower corner of the wings. A Sleeping Baileya (above) would have a sharp bend in this line.
Another Pale Baileya moth. I have found a couple of these moths in April, June, and July.
Another Eyed Baileya moth. These moths come to my lights from April through August.
Small Baileya moths come to my lights every month from April through September.
