Butterfly Group #4 - Yellow & Orange Butterflies, White & Blue Butterflies, and Hairstreaks

Cabbage Whites are probably the most common butterflies in our area. Orange and Clouded Sulphurs are also abundant (and sometimes difficult to distinguish in the field). Some of the other butterflies on this page are uncommon or irregular visitors to Ohio, including the Sleepy Orange, Little Yellow, and Dainty Sulphur. The tiny Azures, Eastern Tailed-Blues, and Hairstreaks add brilliant touches of color wherever they go.
