Below are the links to my 14 moth plates. There are approximately 2,000 - 2,500 species of moths in our area. I've found more than 450 species so far, many of which are featured on this website--but this represents only a fraction of the species in our area. In arranging these 14 plates, I have not adhered to scientific groupings. Rather, I have attempted to combine similar-looking moths in each group. This arrangement is intended to alert readers to the existence of "look-alike" species, which might or might not belong to the same family.
