DART MOTHS & Others
American Dun-bar Moth, photographed at my lights on July 1, 2023. This is my only sighting of this species.
Reddish Speckled Dart. I have found a couple of these moths in April.
Smith's Dart, photographed on September 12, 2022. This is the only Smith's Dart I have seen.
Norman's Dart, an uncommon species at my lights. I found a few individuals in September 2017.
Bridled Arches, photographed at my lights on June 5, 2022. Again, this is my only sighting of the species. (It is amazing how many moths will only come to your lights once!)
Pale-banded Dart. I find these moths in small numbers at my lights, mostly in October and also late September.
Greater Red Dart, photographed on July 28, 2023 at my moth lights. Again, my only sighting of the species.
