RENIA Moths
Speckled Renia. I have found several of these at my lights in May and June.
Another Discolored Renia. Some individuals have a strongly banded pattern like this one.
Sober Renia moth. This one was found at Grant Park in Centerville. These moths visit my black lights as well, from April through July.

Sociable Renia. This is the only one I have found at my lights. September 6, 2024.
There are several very similar-looking Renia moths. Bugguide has a good list of criteria for how to identify the different species. The individual at left is a Discolored Renia, the largest in size. Getting a measurement can help to identify the moths in this family.
This is another Discolored Renia. I have found a few Discolored Renias at my lights from June through September.
