Male Seepage Dancer. These damselflies are classified as endangered in Ohio. Seepage Dancers are only found in a few localized populations in Ohio.
Seepage Dancers can be seen during the summer months at Cedar Bog. They are fairly plentiful at this location, although they are rare in the rest of the state. The only other place where I have seen this species is near Travertine Fen. Travertine is not accessible without a permit, but you can find interesting things (like Seepage Dancers) along the bike path near the fen.
